Today a new brick proved again how big and strong TAC and therefore the Brick Project
really is. Three days ago one of the most famous people in Turkey - Şevket Sabancı -
added 50 bricks to the project. The was graduated from TAC in 1956!
Today the hew graduates of TAC's primary school -SEV- added 22 bricks. They are graduated
in 2006!
50 years have passed. TAC is still here. We are still here. And we are deeply connected
to each other. It is not hard to foresee that 50 years later someone else will be writing
similar sentences to mine!

However what was special about them is that they didn't want their names
to be seen on the page, nor their bricks would be redirected to their

A new product of our project : "Brick T-shirt" is now available.
The well-known designer Arzu Kaprol voluntarily designed us a t-shirt.
It is produced in Istanbul, for men and women, with three color choises
and different sizes.
They are 35 ytl each, and the profit will directly go to the project itself.

This bulletin is also about the Graduate Brick "Race".
Because there has been a great improvement. Class of 86 was silent.
And when they showed up, it was a real "show up"!
They donated 25 bricks, but what is extraordinary about this is that
they reserved 275 more! So they will add up to 300!
They said it will take more then a year, but a promise is a promise.
We know those bricks will be added sooner or later. Thank you 86 graduates.
The next biggest reservation is that of 63's. They are at 46 nowadays but plan
to add up to 75 in the future..

The constitution of our project is signed, and in use from now on!
The purpose of the “Brick by Brick” Bursary Fund is to establish the means of offering financial
support to prospective TAC students and, to a lesser extent, Tarsus SEV Students and TAC Graduates
studying at the university level.
The Fund is being developed by means of donations from Alumni and other people or organizations who
care about the continuation of academic excellence at Tarsus American College. Depending on the amount
of the donation made, a certain number of pixels on the “Brick by Brick” electronic picture of the
symbolic Stickler Building will be assigned to the donor.

This is a day of happyness. A day to be proud!
